About Me
I am a scientist-turned-entrepreneur with a deep passion for advancing life sciences research. With a background in Genetics from Trinity College Dublin and a PhD from University College Dublin, I spent my postdoctoral years at the University of Cambridge focusing on cell cycle regulation and cancer biology.
In 2017, together with my co-founder Colm Ryan, we launched Assay Genie with a simple mission: to make scientists smile through validated reagents, excellent documentation, and real scientific support. What started as an experiment has grown into a global life sciences company serving researchers in over 50 countries.
Beyond the lab and the office, I'm a proud father of two, a passionate runner who has completed an Ironman and several triathlons, and an avid reader. I believe in pushing boundaries—whether in science, business, or personal challenges.
